ABSTRACT

This article discusses applying the hybrid contract concept in multiservice ijarah financing as an alternative to financing health services. This is important to study because health services are one of the most urgent things in the current Covid-19 pandemic. This article aims to determine the form of contracts contained in multiservice ijarah financing as an alternative to financing health services in the Covid-19 pandemic. This type of research is normative legal research. The data were obtained from library materials such as books, journals, etc. The analysis results show that health financing can be carried out in two ways: the ijarah contract, which begins with the bank through investors doing the health institution after making the contract, and the wakalah contract through the customer himself. People who have financial problems paying for health costs with multiservice ijarah transactions can apply for health financing to Islamic Financial Institutions for their families to minimize deaths before treatment in the Covid-19 pandemic. © 2022, Institut Agama Islam Negeri Batusangkar. ABSTRACT

Direct and indirect physical contact of humans and objects become the main medium of transmissible diseases such as COVID-19. Some strategies have been proposed to mitigate the risks of infections by minimizing physical contact, such as using robotics technology. Tele-robotics is one of the sub-fields in robotics that aims to implement physical surrogates for monitoring and controlling robots from remote distances, either autonomous, semi-autonomous, or manually guided. This paper discusses experimental research for evaluating the performance of a 4-DOF robot manipulator for pick and place tasks on small medical objects, such as test tubes in table-top scenarios. The robot manipulator is designed as an RPRR manipulator and is equipped with a gripper attached to its endeffector. Inverse kinematics and trajectory planning methods have been successfully implemented in real-time. The inverse kinematic method utilizes a pseudo-inverse Jacobian solver, and the trajectory generation utilizes a sigmoid function. The performance analysis results show that pick and place missions have been demonstrated with minimum tolerable position error, which is not more than 3.5 mm. The robot manipulator can satisfy high precision during repetitive experiments and maintain its accuracy in picking and placing standard test tubes from one rack to another within its working space. The smooth trajectories of the end-effector are achieved by implementing the sigmoid function. Thus, it satisfies the requirement for handling objects with minimum vibrations even during the actuation process with maximum speed. © IJASEIT is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Share Alike 4.0 International License.

ABSTRACT

INTRODUCTION Acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the severe complications of COVID-19. The two distinct medical conditions sharing similar comorbidities are diabetes and hypertension. However, the correlation between AKI and COVID-19 patients with diabetes and/or hypertension, has not been extensively discussed. This study aims to assess the risk factors of AKI induced by COVID-19, using a meta-analysis approach. METHODS A meta-analysis was carried out by reviewing the latest relevant studies on online databases such as PubMed, Google Scholar and Medline, up to 21 March 2022. The required information related to hypertension and diabetes as the potential risk factors of AKI induced by COVID-19, was extracted. The association was analyzed using pooled odds ratio (OR) and a 95% confidence interval (95% CI). RESULTS We analyzed 29 studies consisting of 10698 AKI patients with COVID-19 and 20917 controls. Our results show that patients with diabetes test)=0.0001, pE (Egger test)=0.8074) and hypertension (OR=1.7921;95% develop AKI when infected with COVID-19. CONCLUSIONS Diabetes and hypertension are prominent risk factors of acute kidney injury induced by COVID-19.

ABSTRACT

The vehicle manufacturing industry is one of the automotive industries in Indonesia that produces four-wheeled vehicles with the main product being cars. The vehicle manufacturing industry has several sub-companies including Vehicle Manufacturers (VM) and Vehicle Sales (VS). The VM industry is experiencing problems with rising transportation operating costs. The same thing is also experienced by the corporate company such as VS. In 2020, transportation operational costs incurred by the company exceed the target, which can cause losses for the company. The purpose of this study is to find the cause of the problem and improve the transportation operational costs that continue to increase so that the company gets a reduction in transportation costs. The implementation of the improvement concept is carried out using the Dynamo++ stages starting from pre-study until the implementation of improvements. Through improvements to the milk-run system, it was found that vehicle manufacturers and vehicle sales benefited from a reduction in transportation costs of 77,861 USD or a decrease of 79.3%. © 2022 by the authors.

ABSTRACT

Implementing the covid-19 health protocol in Indonesia is difficult due to governance concerns. The government of Indonesia developed real-time implementation tactics for the country's health protocol. This study aims to examine the function of government management in executing the covid-19 pandemic health protocol in the Wirosari District. This study will also explore how the local administration in Wirosari District, Grobogan Regency, assists with the covid-19 pandemic. The descriptive qualitative study approach collects district government data from government officials, the task force for dealing with the covid-19 epidemic, and the Wirosari District population. The outcomes demonstrated that the government's implementation of health guidelines in the Wirosari district was a successful strategy. This study contributes to the corpus of knowledge by highlighting the importance of government management. This study demonstrates that local government support is reflected in the policies outlined in regulations, while budgetary support for activities is not explicitly reflected in the budget for implementing activities in the district. However, the district administrator must supervise and control the implementation of the covid-19 pandemic health protocol. © 2022, Institute for Development and International Relations.
